...in honor of the "live" concert they STILL HAVEN'T BROADCAST HERE!!!

Pre-empted by the Pope

PBS. Gotta love 'em. For months, Sondheim's Passion in concert starring Patti LuPone and Audra McDonald, has been slated for broadcast on March 31 as part of the "Live from the Lincoln Center" series. So the local affiliate decided to delay the broadcast of the current "Live from the Lincoln Center" by two days. Go figure. Then, at the last minute "Not Quite As Live from the Lincoln Center" was then preempted by a couple of documentaries on the life of the recently departed Pope. Hmmm...exchanging Passion for the Pope. There's something worth examining there, but I can't for the life of me decide what it is.

Not a travelogue

I've decided that the purpose of this blog will be simply an expressive outlet. Hopefully that means it doesn't become a travelogue...or worse, a diary: "Today I got up, took a shower, clipped my toenails, and threw a couch at the man honking outside my apartment. Looks like rain."

So there you have it! A mission statement. I feel so productive already.
